This privacy policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information of users of our NEO system web extension.

NEO system web extension is primarily intended for automotive spare parts professionals. This extension complements and enhances your monitoring, analysis and search capabilities, only on the web pages you activate.

Once you have activated the extension for a website, all searched part numbers you perform will send a request to our server to identify the product and provide you with additional information (some features require a paid license) about the market demand for this product, equivalences with other brands or information on availability and prices from your suppliers.

The extension will open automatically after every search you perform, unless you disable this option from the “Options” menu.

Information You Voluntarily Provide

By registering and using our services, you voluntarily provide us with the following information: company name, address, contact name, email and profile information.

If you enable a website, we will store: the date and time, the part number you searched for, your IP, and the domain from which the search was made. This information is used in order to provide in-depth analytics about your searches.

Finally, if you configure your providers you will be required to provide credentials to access and automatically log in to your account.

All this information is stored securely and encrypted on our servers hosted in Spain.

Use of Cookies

The web extension uses “cookies” only to save user configuration preferences.

Using Your Personal Information

Factory Data gives you the choice of providing, editing or removing certain information. You may update your account information through your account settings. You can also request the deletion of the personal information in your account by contacting us at ventas@factorydata.com

Sharing Information with Third Parties

Factory Data shares information with the following third parties:

• Extension Permissions: some web browser will ask users to grant certain permissions at the time of installation.

• Cloud Hosting and Infrastructure Service Providers: we use Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a platform for some web services execution and Arsys as our cloud hosting service provider located in Spain.

• Email Service Providers: We use email delivery service providers to send emails to users about their accounts and activity, and to users who have agreed to receive news and updates about our services and annotation in general.

• Performance Monitoring Service Providers: We may share information with one or more performance monitoring service providers for digital performance monitoring management purposes, so that we can monitor and address any issues with the performance of the services.

• Platform Data Analytics Service Providers: We use analytics providers to gather analytics related data reporting capabilities to monitor visitors and usage.

• NEO system Auto Parts Data Analytics: The data that we disclose to customers about searches statistics is always anonymized and aggregated into metrics that do not identify you.

Factory Data doesn’t share user information with advertisers, affiliates or partners.

Securing Your Personal Information

Factory Data secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol is used for communication and user passwords are encrypted by industry standard algorithm.

Data retention

Unless you instruct us otherwise, we retain the information we collect for as long as needed to provide the Services and to comply with our legal obligations, for the period of time required.

Your Rights

Users have a right to access their User Information and searches activity at any time either through their user settings or by logging into the services.

Users have a right to delete their user Information and to de-identify their searches activity at any time by contacting Factory Data at ventas@factorydata.com and submitting an email request to do so.

Modifications and Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may modify, add to, suspend, or delete this privacy policy, in whole or in part, at our sole discretion at any time, with such modifications, additions or deletions being effective on the date of publication online. Your access of the website and/or use of our services, after modification, addition or deletion of the privacy policy shall be deemed to constitute acceptance by you of the modification, addition or deletion.
